Our Visit to Cardinal Farm in South Lyon

One of the main reasons we started this company was to support and celebrate Michigan farmers, makers and entrepreneurs.

We had the most wonderful adventure today visiting Cardinal Farms (currently in South Lyon, but in the process of moving to Dexter) with a dear friend to pick up two sheep for her farm in Kentucky. Farmers Cindy and Rich Kern are the indelible, hardworking and determined embodiment of Michigan farming.

When I asked Rich about their experience on the farm, he gave me an answer that is exactly what makes our Michigan farmers so amazing. He told me that this life is purposeful. At the end of every day, he said he knew they had made other lives better and he felt that their life had true purpose. That’s going to stay with me for a very long time. Thank you to all our farmers. We see you. We appreciate you!
